Cyber Security Channel Manager

£40-65k package, with £70-100k OTE
Full-time, Permanent, Field-based (UK)

Are you an experienced IT/Cyber Security Channel Manager? Do you want to further your career by joining the exciting, fast-growing area of cyber security?

This is an opportunity to join the UK’s, longest standing, leading cyber security provider. As part of our ongoing growth (our Managed Services Division grew 48% in 2019), ECSC Group plc is expanding the sales team to include a dedicated Channel Manager, responsible for developing revenue within our well established Partner Programme. Whilst beneficial, previous experience in cyber security is not a requirement.

ECSC runs 24/7/365 managed cyber security services from UK and Australian Security Operations Centres, in addition to a range of consulting and cyber security testing services. ECSC serves a wide range of clients from small start-ups to multi-nationals, including 10% of the FTSE 100. We are proud of our 20 year history, 20% average annual growth, unrivalled industry reputation, and London stock market listing. Our 90%+ staff retention rate is testament to our team approach and commitment to staff development at all levels.

Our fast-growing Partner Programme now consists of over 100 resellers, who consistently give positive feedback on both the partner programme and the quality of delivery. They range from individual consultants referring work to the ECSC sales team, to large VARs with sales teams of up to 50. We offer extensive support including initial training, tailored training to larger partners, partner events, and marketing support. Our internal systems to track client ownership and deal registration are all in place.

The Role

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, the Channel Manager will:

  • Coach, lead, educate, and manage the ECSC partner sales management and sales teams
  • Be responsible for the partner sales performance against target
  • Provide the management team with accurate activity reports, channel information and forecasting
  • Contribute to an evolving partner strategy
  • Work closely with the marketing and internal sales support teams to maximise partner recruitment, training and sales
  • Establish and maintain positive team and partner relationships
  • Ensure effective co-ordination with the wider ECSC sales team
  • When, and where, appropriate travel throughout the UK

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ channel sales experience, including 2 years at management level
  • Proven track record in the effective management and development of channel partners
  • Proven sales track record identifying and closing business
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a positive confident attitude
  • Highly motivated with a pragmatic business acumen
  • Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation
  • Whilst an awareness of cyber security would be useful, it is not essential

Cyber Security Managed Services Account Manager

Whilst beneficial, previous experience in cyber security is not a requirement.

  • Provide the management team with accurate reporting, client information and key renewal intelligence
  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure full utilisation of client marketing opportunities
  • Establish and maintain positive team and client relationships
  • Provide support with renewals and service enhancements

Required Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ account management experience, including 2 years within managed services
  • Proven track record in effective account planning and management, and the development of both relationships and revenue opportunities
  • Proven sales track record identifying and closing business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated with a pragmatic business acumen
  • Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making and negotiation
  • Whilst an awareness of cyber security would be useful, it is not essential

Internal Sales Executive

Leeds, West Yorkshire
Circa £20,000 p.a. plus Commission
Full-time, Permanent

The Role

The Internal Sales Executive role is primarily focused on lead generation, driving new business and supporting external Business Development Executives. Utilising telephone and email to engage with prospective clients, the role is responsible for executing Business Development Executives' strategies on new business.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Meeting Booking - Responsible for booking face to face meetings or telephone conversations with Business Development Executives, ensuring relevant information is logged on the CRM system and appropriate calendars. The ISE should also ensure prospects are adequately researched so the Business Development Executive is armed with enough information prior to the meeting.

Strategy Support - Support external Business Development Executives' plans for new business generation, liaising with the Internal Sales Manager and peers to organise time and activities to maximise new opportunities.

Marketing Support - Responsible for converting marketing event leads and data into meetings with Business Development Executives through calls and email.
