As a rapidly growing company in a dynamic sector, ECSC is always interested in hearing from individuals who are keen to develop their skills and knowledge in cyber security. We have a range of roles in our Security Operations Centre, along with other field-based opportunities.

At present, ECSC has a dedicated in-house recruitment department and, as such, we are not looking to engage the services of any third-party recruiters at this time. We will update this page should this change in the future.

Please refer to our Job Applicant Privacy Notice for information relating to how your personal data will be handled.

Information Security Consultant - QSA

Are you an experienced Cyber Security professional looking to further your career as a Qualified Security Assessor, or are you an experienced Consultant (with relevant qualifications, eg. CISSP and Lead Auditor) looking for a fresh challenge as a QSA; if your answer is yes to either of these questions, we'd like to hear from you!

ECSC offer a wide range of consulting services to a large client base:

  • ISO 27001 implementation, development and audit (as well as other related standards such as ISO20000, ISO22301, ISO27018)
  • Cyber Security Reviews - technical reviews of priority areas proven to prevent against breaches
  • PCI DSS audit and consultancy
  • GDPR consultancy
  • Cyber Essentials audits and consultancy

In almost two decades, ECSC has developed an unrivalled reputation for quality delivery of security projects to an impressive client list. Our consultants play a key role in developing these services, with roles including: penetration and web application testing, social engineering tests, code review, and PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliance. We also help clients fix the problems that we find.

We encourage our consultants to be able to work across more than one area of consulting. We support ongoing career development, including formal qualifications, ranging from industry specific certifications, such as the well respected CISSP, to full degrees and masters qualifications.

The role can involve extensive travel as you will spend significant periods of time at client sites throughout the UK, helping them to address their security risks. This is a fast-paced role and you will rarely be in one location for more than a single week. There may also be opportunities for international travel, especially if you develop your wider security consulting skills. When not on a client site, you can be home-based, and do not need to be near one of our offices. Benefits include Private Healthcare, Company Car (or Car Allowance) and full expenses for all client engagements.

You will be joining a team of highly motivated and skilled consultants from whom you'll learn a great deal (and who will also want to learn from you!) through regular team development days and our Consulting Academy.
